Helping Hands was formed in 1997 to provide help or services of a practical nature to those who may require it; to help with the little things in life that can make a big difference.

Volunteers give of their time so that Helping Hands can help people who often have difficulty helping themselves.

Help with transport is the most frequent request.  Tasks can include:-

  • General Household chores
  • Light gardening
  • Transport to Doctors Surgery
  • Transport to Hospitals
  • Light Housework
  • Ironing
  • Mending
  • Dog Walking
