We are, however, very fortunate that Mark Fleming, Director of Sports Chaplaincy Scotland is able to step in and speak instead. Mark is the Pastoral Director for Scottish Football and Chaplain to the SFA.
Sports Chaplaincy Scotland effectively began in 1998 when Mark was appointed as chaplain to Partick Thistle FC. He will share with us some highlights from his role as Director of Sports Chaplaincy in Scotland. A quotation from a recent talk was “Mark is so good at what he is doing because of his own infectious personality and his love for serving people and sharing his faith.”
