Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread: and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
The words “Your KINGDOM comes” is a declaration of God’s purposes taking place in this world even as they already do in God’s KINGDOM. The first half of the prayer focuses exclusively on God and His WILL before the believers introduce their own personal petitions.
