Compassionate Lord – help us never be satisfied with our understanding of Your purposes but encourage us to add to our faith and reveal and practise good character – have spiritual understanding through prayer and Your presence – be always alert in our discipline as Christians – and earnestly persist in being passionately patient in all our challenges – showing reverent wonder as we submit to Your Sovereign rule – being warm in our friendliness to all people – and sharing Your love generously within our families – fellowship – friendships… Father God we give thanks for the truths in Your Word and pray we faithfully may add all these attributes to our faith… through Jesus Christ – Amen.
