A Fairtrade Community – it’s official

The Balerno Fairtrade Group are delighted to report that the Fairtrade Foundation has reconfirmed Balerno as a Fairtrade Community. Congratulations are due to our Fairtrade Group for all the hard work that they put in to keep the rest of us informed and trading fairly. However hard work by a committee is not enough by itself, it needs people and organisations in the community to sign up and use fairly traded products too. Congratulations are therefore also due to all who trade fairly in Balerno. What better time for us all to renew our own practical backing for FT, whenever we shop for our homes and organisations?
