Readers of the Edinburgh Presbytery Mission Plan, referred to in the post of 8th January, will realise that major changes are being proposed. The plan was issued shortly before Christmas, and it was felt that the very far-reaching consequences dictated an immediate response. This response was followed up by a great deal of detailed discussion by members of the cluster groups and the Kirk Session culminating in a detailed and constructive discussion at a full Kirk Session meeting on 12th January and a second submission to Edinburgh Presbytery.
Edinburgh Presbytery is discussing the whole report at a specially convened meeting on Saturday 15th January.
