Why?
Fresh Start, an Edinburgh based charity, has been a pillar of support for those who have experienced homelessness, helping thousands rebuild their lives when settling into a new home. This year marks a significant milestone for Fresh Start, as they celebrate their 25th Anniversary. Balerno Parish Church has a long established relationship with Fresh Start and there will be a collection of household items for their starter packs on Friday, 11th and Saturday, 12th October, 10 am – 12 noon in the Rear Hall, behind Balerno Parish Church. Each year Fresh Start helps thousands of new tenants settle into their homes. This can only be achieved by the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of the donors.
