Prayer
God our Father, we pray for all those who are anxious about their jobs. The employment prospects for many are uncertain due to the dramatic downturn in the economy as a consequence of the pandemic.
Many employers have taken the opportunity to apply for funds put in place to help businesses survive. This includes the job furlough scheme, business loans and grants. However, there is anxiety for employees and employers alike as they now wait for the cash on which their future hinges.
Lord, in your mercy help all who are struggling financially at this time. Amen
